In the difficult times of the Corona crisis, we offer a platform on which artists can present their works directly and completely free of charge. Corona Galerie. One day. One artist. One artwork. The presentation in calendar form captures the current atmosphere and supports the aim of the gallery to give adequate space for representation to as diverse and numerous artists as possible and help them get in contact with those interested in art.

Artists can present their works directly and easily on the website of the "Corona Gallery". In this way, the "Corona Gallery" gives art enthusiasts and art collectors the opportunity to get to know interesting, new artists and their works without intermediaries and to acquire them at fair prices. In this way, artists are supported in these difficult times and given the opportunity to continue to work as freelance artists.

„Unser Weltgeschehen funktioniert im 24-Stunden-Rhythmus. Um Mitternacht fängt ein neuer Tag, etwas Neues an. Am Ende des Tages, beim Einschlafen, lassen die Menschen etwas zurück und hoffen in der Zukunft, am nächsten Morgen, wieder etwas Neues zu gewinnen. Jeden Tag ist die Realität ein wenig anders – dabei ist „ein wenig“ oft sehr groß. Wir wachen auf und erfahren unter anderem aus den Nachrichten, Zeitungen oder von den Nachbarn, dass ein Land nicht mehr existiert, dass unsere Währung nichts mehr wert ist, die üblichen Bezeichnungen von etwas veraltet sind. Es entstehen Löcher. Die Realität entspricht nicht mehr dem gewohnten Bild. Wir versuchen die Löcher möglichst schnell durch unsere Aktivitäten zu schließen – das Bild zu vervollständigen, aber oft reißen die Löcher das Bild so sehr auseinander, dass die Realität zerfällt.“ aus dem Projekt „Ich gehe eine Straße entlang“, Projektstipendium KunstKommunikation 14.
